Strategy

The Action Plan for Climate and Sustainable Energy A Estrada supports the commitment to the European initiative "Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy", thus assuming the objectives of mitigation of GHG emissions and adaptation to climate change defined in the new framework for action. A Estrada foresees the reduction until 2030 of emissions in its territory by 40.0% compared to 2010, applying measures aimed at sustainable mobility, increasing energy efficiency in buildings and equipment, use of renewable energy sources, the acquisition of of certified green energy and the awareness of municipal public employees and the general population.
