Nominations for the European Citizen's Prize are open!
For the first time in the history of the Prize, applications and nominations are open to everyone (previously only MEPs could nominate)!
From now on, citizens, groups of citizens and organisations / associations can apply for the Prize for projects they have carried out, or can nominate one other citizen, group of citizens, organisation / association for the prize.
Has your organisation carried out a project that:
Promotes better mutual understanding and closer integration between citizens of the Member States or facilitates cross-border or transnational cooperation within the EU?
Involves long-term, cross-border or transnational cultural cooperation that contributes to strengthening the European spirit?
Gives concrete expression to the values enshrined in the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union (dignity, freedoms, equality, solidarity, citizens’ rights and justice)?
If so, then we would like to encourage you to apply / nominate the project for the Prize.
Please spread this information among your network and organisation. It is an important opportunity to showcase some of the great civil society projects that make a real difference in Europe.
Applications / nominations are open and they will run until 20 April 2020 at 23:59 (Brussels time).
